A PORTRAIT OF PROFESSIONALISM
Joanie is a native Charlestonian whose roots run many generations deep. She acquired an early passion for architecture and historic preservation and has specialized for 30 years in the upper-end historic residential market. Her niche is the million plus properties in the Historic District which has put her in Charleston's elite category of top producers.
Joanie's approach to buying and selling historic houses is much like an art dealer. With her expertise and keen insights, she gives you expert advice on authenticity, provenance, and market value. Joanie inherits her determination and entrepreneurial spirit from Eliza Lucas Pinckney (1722 - 1793), Charleston's first female business woman who managed two plantations with great success.
Joanie is a broker and holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from the University of South Carolina. She has served on the board of trustees at Ashley Hall School and served for many years on the board of the Preservation Society of Charleston.
